Yet Another Day

Am on leave today, as I had a dental appointment earlier on at noon. Visits to the dentist freaks me out, because I always have a hard time enduring the screeching sounds from the equipments. The screeching makes my hair stand! So there goes my money again, for the dental visit. Never mind, I’m gonna get my wages in a few more days’ time.

I’ve made up my mind, to get dental braces done by this year. Of course, I hope that there will be available slots for my major operation. Got to get going for a few more upcoming stuff as well… Hair trimming, coloring, straightening and a short vacation. Should I dye my hair ash brown, or honey brown this time?

After the horrifying visit to the dentist, I made my way down to dearest’s office to have lunch with my ex-colleagues and him. We went somewhere I’ve never been to. Dearest’s boss had recommended us there but unfortunately, most of the stalls were still closed when we reached. Due to the limited choices of food and a lack of appetite, I ended up with only a huge cup of soybean milk. Not much as it had seemed, but I was full before I could finish the entire cup.

Accompanied them back to the office after lunch, then went off to shop around Plaza Singapura for a while. I just wanted to kill time and not let my rest day go to waste. I seriously hate doing nothing at home, during my rest days. Like come on, they’re so hard to come by! Live life to the fullest!

Sad to say, my evening had eventually gone to waste by simply sitting in front of my PC. Andy had cheated my feelings again! Haha, so there goes my rest day… Sigh. Anyway, I’m going to have a probation test at work tomorrow. Good luck to myself.

If you’ve managed to read through my entire post for today… Impressive job! Thanks a lot for your time and devotion. Bye, readers!

Mummy just came back to Singapore on Thursday. I missed her! She got me a new bag and a bottle of  “Elizabeth Arden” perfume! Don’t know why she had gotten me those, but oh well. The bag costs $80 and the bottle of perfume costs $108.

Wonder how the perfume smells like, because I haven’t even opened the box. I seldom use big bags like this one too, though I did buy a somewhat similar one as shown above, when I was in the U.S. But I’ll use it anyway! Just not so soon though… Thanks, mummy!

Went out with Andy and his church friends yesterday. Have to admit that I was kind of prejudiced against the Christians, but not anymore. Sorry to all! Don’t bother asking me why, cause it’s the past now.

Besides, I’m a Buddhist and my dad has strong beliefs in Buddhism. Whatever it is, I don’t believe much in religions anyway. I would almost prefer just a plain straightforward thinking.

Andy’s friends were very welcoming and friendly. I was quiet and keeping mum to myself most of the time, but they didn’t mind and had attempted to strike conversations with me. Thanks, I really appreciate that! Being an introvert made it hard for me to open up to new friends.

Watched them play bowling in the late noon and got the opportunity of dining with them for dinner. I then suggested to play “Left 4 Dead” after dinner and Mary was so excited, lol. I was delighted when they all agreed! It was my first time playing as an “infected” in the game… It was totally awesome.

Left 4 Dead Infected

Was really fun and wild to hang out with them. Didn’t manage to take any photos though, as I was too solitary. After the game, Andy and I went to Hougang Mall’s “McDonald’s” for a long chat till almost 2am. We had conversations about our childhood and some other sad stuff.

Thanks a lot for the sharing session, Andy! And I’d love to meet up with the group again. Hope to see you guys soon!

Edamame Craze

I’ve finally found the edamame soybean pod key chain, sold by “Bandai!” After months of searching high and low for it, I discovered that it is actually not sold here in Singapore anymore. Dearest loves eating edamame… He eats them like a hamster!

Needless to say, he likes the key chain too. Desperate, I had purchased it from the internet at a costly rate, as a gift for him. Don’t know if you guys have ever seen the key chain before? I guess it’s pretty cute and unique. Take a look at it!

Please do not spoil or eat it, my dear! My pocket is now burnt, especially after buying the “Pichu” plush toy for you. Hugs!

Lastly, thanks for Wendy’s assistance! Am signing off, bye readers!

Midnight Movie

Good morning, everyone! I just woke up about half an hour ago. Feel so refreshed after a bath! … But I feel like sleeping again.

Went over to dearest’s place at around 9pm last night. Bought dinner for him, as he had slept throughout the day. So if you think that I’m a pig, then he’s even worse, lol! Spenser drove Aunt and us to fetch Khim Hee first, then to a nearby “Macdonald’s” for supper. After which, we caught a midnight movie at Ang Mo Kio Hub.

“Blood Ties” was the show. It is a featured home production and tells the supernatural story of a policeman who passed away and returned for revenge during the seventh day of his death, by possessing the body of his younger sister. The film is rather realistic and carries quite an ordinary storyline. Don’t be afraid to watch this movie, because it is not scary at all. The only factors are gore and violence… Just an average film in my opinion.

Went for a drink at the coffee shop after the movie and reached home at around 2.30am. Was dead beat, so I went to bed straight. Thanks for the ride, Spenser!

Alright, gonna go have lunch and head over to dearest’s place again. We’re going out for a “Left 4 Dead” session! Thanks for reading my boring post, bye-bye!

Birthday Celebrations

Dearest’s mummy had bought me a bottle of “Moschino” perfume! It came with a free miniature bottle. The scent is kind of alluring in my opinion and I like the design of the bottles. Thanks, Aunt!

Had attended two birthday celebrations yesterday. The first one was totally wild, lol. Overslept and woke up only at 11am. I panicked, as I hurriedly got myself ready to rush out to meet Lydia first, then to Marina Square as we were meeting Roy there at 12.30pm. After all of us have arrived (including V.I.P – Steph), it was lunch time at “Kenny Rogers Roasters!”

I haven’t dined at “Kenny Rogers Roasters” before that, so these were my thoughts on my first visit. Service was just the usual average, the corn muffins were an in-house treat and tasted delicious, but the rest of their food and drinks weren’t really a big ‘hoo-ha.’

Felt that the chicken could have been juicier and more tender. As for the baked fish, it could have been furnished with some sauce. However, the prices are fairly reasonable given that the food proportions are huge. Obviously, I couldn’t even finish up my main dish!

Another thing which I disliked was that they do not serve plain water. Instead, they want you to buy them! Besides that, I felt that the staffs there weren’t attentive enough and seemed busy most of the time to tend to you.

Shortly after lunch, we went for a “K Box” session upstairs. Was delighted to discover that Kelly is actually working part-time there! The last time I saw her was before my diploma school’s graduation. I’m glad that she still recognizes me!

Steph (The belated birthday girl)

The K Box session was supposed to end at 7pm, but we left at around 6pm as I had to rush to dearest’s house to celebrate Uncle’s birthday. Finally reached there at around 7pm, then Uncle drove us to “The Seafood International” at East Coast Parkway for dinner while Spenser and Khim Hee followed behind us in another car. Sorry for being late!

If you’d like to dine at an exquisite seafood restaurant, then do not hesitate to try out there! The seafood there is guaranteed fresh, as they fish them out of the aquariums upon your selection. You may also select the methods of cooking which you actually prefer. Simply sit back and relax at your seat, while the chef whips the dishes up for you and have them sent to your table.

Needless to say, the food there was absolutely marvelous and will make you go craving for more! So hurry and save up, to experience a grand dining session there!

After dinner, Uncle sent dearest’s aunt and nephew home. So, Spenser drove us to Hougang Plaza for another K Box session of the day! Sang until almost 2am, then we went home. Boy, was it a really tiring day! Last but not least…

Happy belated birthday to Uncle and Steph!

My Korean Idol

Today’s post is gonna be something a little bit different. I’m trying my best to divert attention away from some gloomy matters. Well to start off, yes! It’s about my Korean idol, “2NE1!”

The leader of the band is called “CL,”  who is only 18 this year. The youngest is “Minzy” at 15, followed by “Sandara” and ” Park Bom” at 25. Here are three of their latest magnificent videos to share. I’m head over heels for Bom! Her awkward  and silly style makes her unique.

I want to watch more of their performances, but they’ve gone on a short vacation, until their new full album is to be released. Hope to see them on the stage again, soon!

Thanks for reading my post for today!
