Long Day

It was a super long day yesterday! Woke up in the morning to attend work, then went over to Payar Lebar with Siddy and Donald to do Siddy’s hair. Was starving like mad, as I did not take my breakfast that day. But never mind, it’s good enough seeing that David had liked the muffins I brought along. Don’t worry!

While Siddy was still at the salon, Donald and I went to have lunch first. Crap, I still suck at peeling prawns using cutlery, so I didn’t eat the prawns in my noodles. What’s more, Donald didn’t like eating the pan-fried dumplings which I had intended to share with him. Sad, those dumplings sure cost a bomb. But never mind, it’s over. Now I know that you don’t eat that.

After lunch, we spent a few minutes more waiting for Siddy before he was done. He then suggested that we head down to “Serene Center,” located at Jalan Serene. Seriously speaking, Donald and I have never even heard of that place before, LOL. It had seemed a little ‘ulu’ in some sense.

Upon arrival, we made our way to “Comics Mart.” This is the second time I’ve been to Comics Mart. It has always been a little awkward, as it seemed to be a hangout place for mostly guys only.

After purchasing some stuff, we headed down to Orchard. Strolled around for a while under the scorching sun in the late afternoon, then we went to Takashimaya.

I saw a whole lot of really cute things there, and decided to purchase some, including three different sets of unique cutlery for Siddy, Lynn (my mentor), and myself. There goes my money again! A total of $69.95. Luckily my pay day is coming soon.

Took a cab home after spending all of our energy, and met up at around 12am again at my place, for the usual movie maniac.

Sidney & Donald

This time round,  I had bought a Thai horror film called “The House.” I felt that the storyline could be further improved, and the graphics were alright. The sound effects were great, though. I was scared at some parts of the show!

After the movie ended, Siddy guided me through a new game which I had just picked up- “EverQuest II.” Thanks a lot! Was really struggling to keep my eyes opened, as it was already 3am+ last night.

Okay, they’re waiting for me in-game now. Do try out the game, if you’re interested. Feel free to ask me any questions here. Till next time!

My eyes are closing! But I’m still here to blog despite the weariness.  Am trying very hard to open my eyes now… So let’s review what had taken place during the past week.

Attended Desmond’s wedding dinner at “Noble House Restaurant,” on 11th July at the UIC building. Was glad that I had a companion who was willing to attend this event with me. Thanks, Siddy! You looked dashing that day.

Hang on… Well, the groom looked dashing too! And the bride was ravishing. As for the restaurant’s service, it was average, and the food was alright. Met a few friendly in-game chaps there, and of course, Judy!

Say, I think I’m shifting house only in January or February. Will still be staying at my current area. Although the time line is far, but it’s better to be prepared for it first, right? So we went down to “Ikea” at Queensway the next day, to look for some new furniture.

Had my eyes caught on some of them. Siddy has agreed to be my room designer! But with nice furniture and decorations, comes loads of money… I will try my best to save up!

– Credits to Siddy for the photos!

I need a lot of cash! Have to get the new furniture, and a new mobile phone. I’m planning to get the pink “LG Viewty.” Am really excited about it. I can’t wait for it to be mine!

Continuing, I had met up with Stephanie, Lydia, and Felicia for lunch today. You go, girls! I missed gossipping with you all! (Haha, just kidding!) Guess I’d need to catch up more often with the three of you.

Went to rent two movies at Hougang Mall after lunch, and they came over to my place to watch one of them. The two movies rented were namely, “The Loner” and “Body # 19.” Kinda regret renting them, because they did not match my standards. It was a relief I didn’t purchase them, but merely rented.

After which, Donald, Andy, William, and Siddy came over to my place as well, for the usual movie hangout. We watched “Land Of The Dead,” and I love it.

That’s all, I guess. Gonna go sleep already, good night all!

P/S: Please kindly vote for my friend “Miyake,” for “Who’s the best bargain hunter” contest. Thanks!

Farewell Dinner

Thursday night was ultimate! Attended the farewell dinner which was planned for Lyn, Jen Kang, and Hui Shi. I was totally unaware that my department head- Carol, was leaving soon too. Got a shock when Lynn and Daren told me about it. I couldn’t believe my ears in the few split seconds. I’ll miss her!

So moving on, we headed to “Coca Steamboat” for a steamboat buffet. The service there was pretty amazing, and the food was damn fresh! Of course, every single cent was paid off. I’m saying this for a reason- Just look!

Yes, the bill was actually $1133.45! But looking at it from another angle, there were 24 of us in total. Covered the cost for Jen Kang, so each of us paid only around $50. What an expensive meal!

Here are some  memorable photos which were taken that night. (Sorry if your photo is not found here, I’m lazy to upload all.) Take note that Jen Kang has a lot of different poses, including the disgusting ones, HAHA!

In case you’re wondering why my expression was like that in the second photo, it was because Jen Kang had taken his belt off and wanted to ‘SM’ me! I seriously didn’t know how to react and pose. Hence, my facial expression. Geez…!

Thanks for the dinner, everyone. And good luck in your future endeavors, guys! Miss you all.

The More We Get Together

I haven’t been getting much sleep these days, due to hanging out with the two cranky boys- Siddy and David. (Maybe just one boy, huh?) I really enjoyed the time spent with the both of them, though sometimes I feel like burrowing deep into the ground, to seek shelter from their random singing on the streets.

I love weekends, because I get to spend even more time with them. Looking back, I used to loathe going out on weekends, because it’s the only time I can rest at home. Well, maybe sometimes I still do.

So, we’re always up to late night movies and shopping on weekends. That was why I had to sacrifice my beauty sleep. (Yeah yeah, I know I’m not a beauty.) And guess what? I’m broke now, from all the shopping.

Thanks for buying me the handbag, Siddy! And thanks to David for the Hello Kitty gift as well as the friendship bands, etc. I like them all.

Anyway, here are three of the movies we’ve watched so far at my place:

You do notice that the three movies are all horror flicks or thrillers, right? Because I only tend to watch movies of such genre. Sadly, none of them is good enough for me. Only “Exorcist: The Beginning” was alright. I need a more satisfying masterpiece! I am currently looking forward to the upcoming movie, “The Final Destination.”

Hmm, I think it’s fun to watch movies with Siddy and David, because they can turn scary shows into hilarious ones, HAHA. Okay, so what else have we been doing? Eating, shopping, watching movies at my place, and getting our new hairstyles. I’m so contented with my hair extensions! Though it cost me a bomb, but never mind.

Oh, we also went for the WCG event at Suntec on Friday with Daren. There weren’t a lot of people there, and it was kinda boring. Caught up with Max, and bumped into Miyake there. As usual, Max is always so lame and dirty-minded, while Miyake is forever a babe. Thanks for the freebies, Max!

Yes, and look at this masterpiece which I took at the WCG event! *Laughs*

We also went to play “Left 4 Dead” at Parklane last night, together with Roy. I have always wanted to give it a shot. It was darn funny last night! Siddy was left with a final bar of health point, and I accidentally shot him, HAHA! (Whenever I’m reminded of this, it makes me laugh like hell!) We also kept falling down from the rooftop! Wanted to help David’s character up, then I fell down as well, LOL. Sorry, I know that I suck at such games!

Gotta go out again in a while now, bye all!
